Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is an item that will make certain Pokemon develop. The Upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's photo disc, and is often offered as a reward during Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be put in armor, weapons trinkets, and gathering tools to increase their item level. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests based on the kind of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools to provide attributes bonuses or other effects while the equipment being used. Upgrade components can only be used on equipment that has an upgrade slot. The majority of upgrade components require that the item being upgraded is above a specific level. Some upgrade components have special visual effects that appear when they are applied. Upgrade components can be obtained through crafting, bought by karma merchants or traded with other players through the Trading Post. They can also be salvaged from equipment and used as rewards.
There are various upgrade components, each of which comes with various bonuses. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions are able to be applied to any type of equipment. They offer fewer bonuses than the other types of upgrade components. Infusions are used in non-amulet equipment that is ascended and legendary equipment, while enrichments are used to upgrade certain items that are ascended back. Inserting an upgrade component will destroy the previous upgrade. Exceptions are glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and enchantments, which can be removed and reinserted freely.
Insignias, enchantments, and prefix/suffix upgrades will appear in the hover display of the item, while they are added to the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia would change the name into Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrades that are added to an equipment piece will be displayed in the item's tooltip.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements, like ligatures, ornaments, fractions and swashes, registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel lets you view and insert these special characters as well as regular glyphs like em dashes, en dashes registered trademark symbols and glyphs that don't appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph provides an initial boost to the stats of the character. The glyph can also have up to four secondary stats that will influence its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a %-increase that is multiplied after other bonuses have been applied, with the exception of Speed Glyphs which directly increase the hero's speed.
Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate them. item upgrader will open a new window showing the Glyphs you own that can be applied to the item you have selected. Note that only the right kind of Glyph can be applied to the selected item and every weapon, jewelry or armor piece can have an array of different Glyphs.
Glyphs can be upgraded by running Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult the dungeon, the greater the amount of Glyph experience you'll get. Once a Glyph reaches level 15 and is upgraded, it can be upgraded at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The Paragon Board's radius increases by one node each 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.
When a Glyph is at the desired level, it is possible to activate it. Select it and then click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will offer its stated benefit and also boost all the other nodes in its radius on the Paragon Board. It's crucial to place glyphs where they will be most beneficial to your build, and this is why it's beneficial to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Some glyphs, however, could offer double bonuses if certain conditions are satisfied, so they're worth looking out for.
Click the cycle widget to alter the perspective of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views shows the Glyphs in a different font. You can narrow down the list of glyphs further by selecting an option beneath "Entire Font": for instance, punctuation shows only punctuation glyphs; Math Symbols narrows the choice to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a process in which you create a new account to give yourself more chances to access a character or weapon that you are interested in. It is done to for you to increase your level faster or to obtain better loot such as an additional weapon for your character. Many players will reroll until they have the characters that they like regardless of their strength. It could be because they like the style or personality of the character.
You must ensure that you make clean changes when you reroll. You should verify locally if the patch passes the pre-commit test and run a core dev test. Upload the patch with a clear difference to a problem (see What is an interdiff?) ).
Rerolls can take days or weeks to complete, based on the luck you have. To save time avoid enemy camps that are not required during this time. In addition you should not re-do any quests that could be completed later in the game. This will save you time and energy.
Another important consideration when rerolling is to make sure that you are aware of the upgrade system. There are many ways to enhance your character's strength and appearance. Upgrades, rerolling characters, and upgrading weapons are all options. It is also crucial to know the limitations of the system.
Rerolling isn't a required part of the game, but it can be helpful to increase your chances of obtaining the right weapon or character. You can use it to determine which character is the best or to experiment with different styles of play and builds.
Sets
A set is an object collection having two common attributes (like the number or eggs in a dozen or the members of a group). Sets can be used for operations such as intersection, union, and distinction.
When you upgrade a set item, it transforms into an upgraded version that is superior to the previous version. This means that weapons and armor will have a higher defense and lower strength requirements.
Upgrades are an excellent method of bringing popular single-set items up to level with their higher-tiered set counterparts. Upgrades like Guillaume's Face Helm to Elite Spired helmet can increase the defense by 217 to 321 and reduce the strength and level requirements to a more feasible range.
It's important to remember that not all items in an assortment are suitable for upgrading. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's shield or Naj's puzzler staff, are already exceptional in their own way and don't require upgrading. On the other hand, certain items that are BiS and are used frequently (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to improve their performance even more. For these types of items, it may be worth the extra expense to upgrade them.
